Very large and substantial antique trivet, from the Art Nouveau period, late 19th century. Blue ironstone, pyrographed "Le Favori" (The Favorite). Earthenware and hand-carved wood. Large ironstone ceramic tile with a magnificent decoration of various plant and geometric motifs. In the center, a scene of birds landing on a flowering tree branch. Rim made of richly hand-carved wood. Very large. In very good condition, no cracks or chips. Signs of use and slight traces of glue are visible in the photos.
