Modernist bridge armchair from the 30s/40s

Superb and rare bridge armchair from the 30s/40s. At the junction between art deco and modernism, its design is representative of this period with the originality of its openwork back. Very high quality with its mahogany structure (note the nice work of rear fixing of the overflowing armrests), its seat has been completely redone by an upholsterer for sale and covered with ecru chenille velvet (silver studding on the front feet and piping on the back feet). Height of backrest 81 cm, seat 47 cm, width 58 cm (between armrests 49 cm), depth 52 cm. Obviously in perfect condition with a very beautiful patina, this very beautiful bridge with a fluid and minimalist design will be an ideal office armchair or can decorate an entrance hall or a dressing room.
