Rectangular wicker vanity case basket

Pretty woven wicker basket with an ingenious closing system, the two large handles fold down and thus ensure that the basket will not open when transporting it. It dates from the 60s or 70s and was then used as a vanity case. Today, it will add a natural touch to your interior, and will find many uses: storage for beauty products in a bathroom, for sewing projects, for gloves and hats in the entrance or even a few books at the foot of the bed. I cleaned it carefully (passing it under the shower to dislodge the dust!), but we can do even better, with a small brush, delicacy and time. It is in good general condition, still solid, but obviously has some marks that testify to its age, the patina of time: some abrasions and frayed strands and two or three broken ones (under the base, I put a dot of colorless glue to prevent the strand from moving), some stains of which the most important seems to me to be a burn stain on the side, but it is not obvious. This basket measures 32 cm by 21 cm for a height of 24 cm (not including the handles).
