Cab 414 leathered 2-seater sofa by Mario Bellini For Cassina, 1977

The cab series, designed by mario bellini for cassina in 1977, was conceived in a completely original way, subsequently imitated by many designers and companies. The sofa has a steel frame, covered with a leather "dress" made up of different parts sewn together, which close around the frame through zips, just like a dress. Its particularly small dimensions make it a truly versatile piece of furniture, suitable for the most diverse contexts. The sofa is in very good condition, with slight signs of time and use, commensurate with its age. Of note is a rectangular shaped incision on the right cushion. Not being deep, this is only visible in certain light conditions.
