Scandinavian Modern Chamotte Vase, Dark Brown & Cream Glaze, Denmark

A striking Scandinavian Modern chamotte vase, handmade in Denmark circa mid-20th century. This piece features a heavily textured dark brown chamotte clay body, accented with a wide band of earthy cream glaze and subtle cobalt blue decor around the body and mouth. The interior is fully glazed in warm cream, providing a refined contrast to the raw exterior. Substantial in weight and form, the vase embodies the quiet restraint typical of mid-century Nordic ceramics. It is in excellent vintage condition.
