Vintage swivel office chair on casters from the 1950s/1960s. Chrome and faux leather finish. Wooden core backrest and seat. Height adjustable via a single central screw. A typical industrial and administrative model of this era, likely originating from the Eastern Bloc (Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, etc.), given its simple and austere construction. Mid-century design, more basic than Egon Eiermann or Arne Jacobsen. Beautiful "spider" base. Overall, in very good vintage condition considering its age. Chrome in perfect condition, neither pitted nor rusted. The black faux leather seat has been replaced; the original faux leather on the backrest is still in good condition. Seat height: 44 to 57 cm.
