4 magnificent grand prix chairs designed by arne jacobsen for fritz hansen in 1957. The lot was purchased in saumur in 1965. The chairs have been kept in furniture storage and their condition is perfect. 850€ each, 3200€ the lot of 4. Design received the highest award (grand prize) at the milan triennial in 1957. Molded teak plywood, curved teak feet. Visible at the louvre museum of decorative arts.
