The stool is in very good condition, no breakage in the structure, no damage to the cane. The assemblies are solid. The whole has retained its original patina, the wood has been slightly rubbed by use, and this gives the stool a crazy charm. You can sit on it, for use as a bar stool, but it can also be used as a small side table for example, or as a bedside table in a bedroom. It dates from the end of the 19th century. Very beautiful french artisanal manufacture.
