Mundus 42 pyrograved bistro chair

Beautiful and rare vintage chair, curved wood and sabre-shaped footing, published by mundus, manufacturer in vienna (austria), whose models are much rarer than those produced at the same time by thonet or fischel. This is model 42. Its pyrograved seat, with its remarkable décor, combines art nouveau motifs (side flowers ending in dragon heads) and art deco (the central lotus), allowing it to date back to the 1920s. It is in good condition for a centenary (see photos) and its patina, fruit of the different shades received, gives it a unique charm. It will look great, alone or in a set of mismatched chairs.
