Old painting, portrait of a notable signed and dated 1874

Very nice framed portrait; oil on canvas depicting the portrait of a gentleman in a black suit and bow tie and his gold pocket watch chain decorated with turquoise stones. He exudes a mischievous and serious look at the same time thanks to the artist who has been able to bring out these expressions thanks to the play of light. It has a more modern gilded wooden setting. It is signed lower left but not easily identifiable (leclercq?) dated 1874, béziers. On the back there is also a trace of name (alphonse l'audrey... ) can be to identify the character. Condition: traces of old restorations on the back of the canvas (pieces) and small scratches scattered on the edges, normal given its age, but absolutely nothing shocking.
