Vintage oak standing wardrobe "Giroflée"

Bonnetière / standing man in Louis Philippe style made of oak: a narrow wardrobe composed of two bodies with a single door, separated in the middle by two drawers with enamelled and brass handles. The west of France, particularly Vendée, produced a large number of this very elegant rustic furniture. It was also known as Jean debout. Superb craftsmanship from the 1950s. In very good overall condition! Composed of one shelf in each cupboard – the interior is in excellent condition. Furniture in very good condition. Country house spirit. It is stable, heavy, and therefore very solid, showing signs of age, but nothing that detracts from its sturdiness and aesthetics. On the contrary, this adds to its charm.
