Murano glass wall light produced by Mazzega is one of the most refined examples of artistic craftsmanship, particularly from the 1960s-70s. This wall light has a gilded metal structure from which glass elements in the shape of leaves hang, resembling a cascade. Each leaf is handmade (as can be seen in the photos, some leaves have small air bubbles, precisely because they are handcrafted; each piece is unique). The body of the glass is transparent, while the tips are milky white, made using the cased glass technique (layers of glass stacked with different colours). When lit, the wall light projects a warm light (depending on the desired effect and the chosen bulbs) that plays with the transparencies and reflections of the glass, highlighting the white tips as luminous details. This wall light perfectly complements mid-century modern, Hollywood Regency, as well as contemporary interiors seeking a refined contrast between the antique and the modern. The name Mazzega is a guarantee of quality, and authentic Murano glass adds even greater value. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. All glass is intact, with no chips or cracks. Height: 32 cm / 12.6" Width: 27 cm / 10.6" Depth: 12 cm / 4.7" Required bulb: 2 x E14 (NOT INCLUDED) Shipping ensures secure packaging, and the lamp will arrive disassembled.
