Superb and authentic 24-piece silver-plated cutlery set from the prestigious French house Christofle, model Boréal (also known as Palm). Created in 1929 by the famous designer Luc Lanel, this iconic model from the Art Deco period is distinguished by its bold lines, very geometric cut facets, and timeless refinement. This set consists of: 12 Dessert Forks (length: 18 cm) 12 Dessert Spoons (length: 18 cm) Very good original condition. The silver plating retains a magnificent shine, with slight micro-scratches from normal use due to its age, but no loss of silver. The pieces bear the official Christofle hallmark in full and the silversmith's mark of the brand (balance surrounded by the letters CC). The set is sold complete in its original vintage green satin case, bearing the mark of the period dealer silversmith "Vitoux à Épernay". About the designer: Luc Lanel (1893-1965) was the famous artistic director of the house Christofle.
