Lloyd Loom side table collector

Size: height 60cm. Diameter 56cm. State: Very good condition. Few original lloyd loom tables remain in this state today. Recently repainted in sage green color respecting the traditional lloyd loom color chart. Small can of paint provided for possible touch-ups. Constitutes a very nice set with the lloyd loom armchair in a 2nd ad. Size: height 60cm. Diameter 56cm. If you don't know lloyd loom: invented in the usa in 1917, it is a process that consists of wrapping kraft paper around a metal wire to obtain paper fibers then braided into mats. Lloyd loom furniture was originally made for large hotels, ocean liners and tea rooms, before finding its way into private homes. Braiding is more resistant than wicker or rattan, more comfortable because it is more flexible and more pleasant to the touch.
