Renovated vintage chest of drawers, 1950s 60s, light oak.

This vintage chest of drawers dates from the 1950s and 60s. Its softened and rounded edges, tapered legs, and so-called slanted drawers with inverted chevron fronts are noticeable. It has a rather minimalist and sleek design. For example, its handles are not visible but are represented by notches underneath the drawers (see photo). It was sourced in Paris and was covered in a thick layer of varnish that had turned orange. After several hours of sanding, it has regained its beautiful blonde oak wood. It is protected by a colourless matte care oil. This vintage chest of drawers, inspired by both Scandinavian and modernist styles, will bring authenticity and style to your interior.
