Pierre Cruège stool

Set of 2 stools. Rare solid mahogany stool, designed by Pierre Cruège, published by Formes in the 1950s. Curved seat with profiled edges, resting on three tapered legs. Generally in good condition. French designer and decorator Pierre Cruège is an essential figure of this reconstruction period. His "Partroy" tables, presented at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in 1949, were very successful.
