This tête-à-tête unique in pear wood was designed by Menno Wieringa, who drew and manufactured unique furniture from the 1970s to the 1990s, under his own direction and in his own workshop. It was designed according to the drawings of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and built in 1984. There is only one. This piece is signed by the designer and the year of production. It has been kept in his workshop all these years, but he decided to part with it because his workshop was demolished and he retired. This type of seating is an innovation of the Victorian era, the "vis-a-vis", designed for intimate conversations. Inviting as a centerpiece in an open space. The fabric is original and also very easy to refurbish, but matches well with the greenish color of the pear wood.
