Three superb and rare Louis Poulsen designer lighting fixtures from the 1960s, no longer in production today. Although Louis Poulsen is best known for its iconic lighting fixtures, such as the PH5, designed in collaboration with Poul Henningsen, or the AJ lamp designed by Arne Jacobsen, the "waggon" model rivals these icons in both its innovative design and unique aesthetic. In the early 1960s, the Louis Poulsen brand was inspired by vintage lighting fixtures found in the first-class carriages of Danish trains. The goal was to create a recessed light fixture that was as discreet as possible, resulting in an aluminum structure covered with a brass disc, with a curved, matte opal glass shade. With its rounded shape and elegant blend of brass and glass, this lamp is a true gem. When lit, it diffuses a soft, pleasant light through the frosted glass, without glare, while the brass ring creates a beautiful contrast. It works perfectly with a standard E27 bulb (included). The "Louis Poulsen" label is present, guaranteeing its authenticity. The visual effect is particularly striking when paired as a trio. Beautiful patina, with some signs of wear testifying to their history. 3 unique vintage pieces for design lovers! Dimensions: ø24 cm X d. 12 cm. Will be carefully packaged. Fast delivery. Shipping insurance included. If the shipping location is outside Europe, please contact us for a shipping quote.
