Elegant English tableware from the Ridgways factory, model "Ventnor", made of fine earthenware known as "Royal Semi Porcelain", dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, around 1895–1915. Its blue floral decoration on a white background features delicate bouquets, small flowers, and scrolls that highlight the scalloped edges. The shapes and curved handles reflect the Rococo style inspired by Louis XV. The pieces bear the circular crowned mark "Ridgways – England – Royal Semi Porcelain", accompanied by the name "Ventnor". This type of mark has been documented since 1894 and continued to be used into the early 20th century, consistent with the proposed dating. The set includes: • A large deep plate: diameter 29 cm, height 4 cm. • A large round plate: diameter 29 cm. • Six flat plates: diameter 24 cm. • Four smaller plates: diameter 22 cm. • Compote: diameter 23 cm, height 8 cm. • A soup tureen with lid: length 28 cm, width 19 cm, height 13 cm. • A sauce boat on a tray: length 25 cm, height 10 cm. Overall, it is in good condition, with signs of use and a patina due to age. Two chips are noted under the rims of two large plates. The photographs allow for an appreciation of the details and the condition of the various pieces.
