Box of 12 table knives Napoleon III XIXth

Nice box of 12 nineteenth century table knives from the napoleon III era in their original case. The sleeves are made of finely carved ivory decorated with a medallion, the giroles are made of silver metal and the blades are made of molten steel stamped "paris". The knives have been professionally sharpened to make them usable again and they are very sharp. In good general condition, there are small slits on the handles without gravity because the sleeves do not move (see photos) the blades show traces of oxidation, which is common on knives of this time. The original box no longer closes (the lid is curved) and shows signs of wear on the satin fabric inside. A very beautiful model sought. Blade length: 25cm. Box: 28.5 cm X 27 cm X 5 cm.
