Set of vintage French plates – Gien, Lunéville & Digoin – 1960s

Set of three vintage French plates – Gien, Lunéville & Digoin – 1960s/70s, chosen for their graphic harmony around the stylised flower. Bold colours and geometric compositions perfectly illustrate the revival of French tableware from this period. - Gien – Capri pattern, large aubergine flower framed by wide orange and purple circles. A particularly graphic design, typical of the pop and colourful aesthetic of the seventies. Stamped Gien France – Capri. Lunéville plate with turquoise flower: stylised floral design in a beautiful palette of turquoise blue, midnight blue, deep green, and salmon. Some elements of the design have a slight relief. Stamped Lunéville France. The largest, with a blue-grey flower at the centre, yellow heart, green foliage, and a play of crossed lines painted in pale blue tones. Stamped Digoin Sarreguemines variation model. In good vintage condition, with signs of use consistent with their age. Chips on the edge of the Gien plate, particularly Gien, with bright and shiny decorations (see photos). Diameter: 20 cm, 20.5 cm, and 23 cm.
