Arnon Stoneware Salad Bowl

Earthenware salad bowl, signed Grès de l’Arnon – France, manufactured in Vierzon (Cher), primarily active in the 1960s–1970s. This production is part of the revival of post-war French stoneware, in a region marked by the great ceramic tradition of Cher, while developing a more structured line designed for tableware. The silhouette is ample and perfectly balanced. The subtly speckled pearly grey glaze is particularly luminous and very shiny, giving it an elegant and contemporary presence. The warm brown rim frames the stylised plant decoration in tobacco brown tones accented with plum touches, adding depth and character. The interior, fully glazed and shiny, beautifully captures light — ideal for serving salads, fruits, or as a decorative centrepiece. Stamped Grès de l’Arnon – France.
