Arnon Stoneware Salad Bowl

Glazed stoneware salad bowl signed Grès de l’Arnon – France, a factory based in Vierzon (Cher), active mainly in the 1960s–1970s. This production is part of the revival of French stoneware post-war, in a region marked by the great ceramic tradition of Cher, while developing a more structured line, designed for table art. The silhouette is ample and perfectly balanced. The subtly speckled pearly grey glaze is particularly luminous and very shiny, giving it an elegant and contemporary presence. The warm brown rim frames the stylised plant decoration in tobacco brown tones accented with plum touches, adding depth and character. The interior, fully glazed and shiny, beautifully captures the light — ideal for serving salads, fruits, or as a decorative centrepiece. Stamped Grès de l’Arnon – France.
