Ceramic vase – flower frog, Danish design, 1960s, made in Denmark

This “flower frog”-style ceramic vase was made in the 1960s in Denmark. Its sculptural form is constructed from interconnected, organic modules featuring numerous openings for individual stems. The multicoloured glaze – in shades of turquoise, green and subtle purples – creates a vibrant, varied surface with great depth. Each segment interacts with light differently, giving the object a changeable, dynamic character. It is an unusual, collectable piece of interior design, balancing between function and sculpture.
