Mid-century space age mushroom floor lamp by Hala

Very rare acrylic glass mushroom floor lamp by the Dutch brand Hala. The plexiglass mushroom shades can be turned in any direction and move up and down the base. The floor switch allows you to switch on the lights simultaneously or separately. The lamp requires two E27 lightbulbs and currently has an EU plug. Hala was founded by designer Herman Theodoor Jan Anthoin Busquet, and became known for innovative and forward-looking lighting designs. Floor versions of their mushroom lamps were produced in much smaller numbers than the more common table models, making this example particularly rare today. Condition: Very good. The lamp is still looking great, with a few vague scratches on the shades (see last pictures). Dimensions: Diameter of shades: 22 cm, Height: 164 cm.
