Vintage serving table, 50's

Side table on wheels with a system allowing different positions and several heights. Created by François Caruelle, known for an approach to design combining functionality and aesthetics. Model composed of two trays, the smaller one is square and fixed. The large tray is rectangular in shape, it can pivot and tilt thanks to a simple mechanism to use. Both with a solid wood outline and the center in Formica. Cross base in chromed metal, the upper part housing the mechanism is in cast iron. The foot can be adjusted in height and part of the base can be extended or retracted. Very stable and solid, can be used, for example, as a drawing or reading table. Dimensions of small tray 28×28. Dimensions of swivel tray 54×40. Adjustable height, minimum 69 cm, maximum 105 cm. Wingspan of the retracted foot 50 cm, deployed 84 cm.
