We are delighted to offer for sale this beautiful Victorian English library table with two rotating tiers, original to around 1880, featuring a pokerwork top. A very aesthetic, highly collectible, and well-crafted table. These tables were designed to showcase your favourite author. Each shelf rotates, and it is rare to find them with two levels; I have never seen a pokerwork top before. The table has been cleaned, waxed, and polished from top to bottom, displaying a lovely patina from years of honest use and its true age, with some signs of wear and age on the top. Dimensions Height: 76.5 cm Width: 51 cm top, 60 cm legs Depth: 51 cm top, 60 cm legs Please note that all measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our warehouses in Pulborough. Condition: please refer to the very detailed photos that are part of the condition description. Please note that vintage and original items, such as leather seating, will always have a natural patina in the form of creases and wear; we recommend an annual wax to prevent moisture loss. Additionally, hand-dyed leather is not advised to be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods, as it may dry out and discolour.
