Magnificent large antique bowl in glazed terracotta signed Poterie Not Frères, Mas-Saintes-Puelles. A beautiful handcrafted piece with generous proportions, measuring 34 cm in diameter and 15 cm in height. It features a lovely flared shape, two small side handles, and a pouring spout, with a superb shiny glaze in ochre, caramel, and orange-brown tones. The piece is stamped "Poterie Not Frères – Mas-Saintes-Puelles". Poterie Not Frères is an iconic pottery house from Lauragais, whose artisanal know-how has been passed down through several generations. The workshop is particularly renowned for its cassoles and traditional culinary pottery, made and glazed using artisanal techniques. The house holds the label Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant. This large bowl can be used as a salad bowl, serving dish, decorative bowl, or centrepiece. It will add a lot of character to an old kitchen, a country house, or a decor that combines vintage objects and French craftsmanship.
