Very beautiful small round vase, Limoges porcelain by Camille Tharaud, antique circa 1920-1940, probably 1930s, modernist Art Nouveau style. Stamped under the base Tharaud, France, Limoges, as well as 2 incised inscriptions, mould mark, decorator's mark. Porcelain with white/beige glaze, shaded, decorated with stylised fern leaves in violin heads, rising from the base to the top, in shades of brown, hazelnut, light brown, and peacock/turquoise green. Small short neck turned up with a peacock/turquoise green rim as well. 14.5-15cm in height, approximately 14.5-15cm in maximum diameter as well. Very good overall condition, no chips, no cracks. However, it does have a few scratches and small abrasions, very discreet. Weighs approximately 500-600g.
