A southern breeze and authenticity on your table! This magnificent large salad bowl, or fruit bowl, made of traditional earthenware comes from the famous Matet France / La Tolosane factory in Martres-Tolosane. It features the sought-after traditional "blue rose" decoration and olive green foliage on a very bright mustard yellow background, a masterful reinterpretation of the historical Montpellier style. The edges are scalloped and highlighted with a delicate orange line. Entirely shaped and painted by hand, it stands out for its superb scalloped edge that adds a charming touch and a lot of relief. Signed on the back with the workshop's handwritten stamp "MF" (Matet France / La Tolosane) and numbered, it dates from the second half of the 20th century. Whether for setting a beautiful summer table, presenting your finest seasonal salads, or simply placed as a sculptural fruit bowl in the centre of a wooden sideboard or a modern worktop, it will immediately bring that sought-after "chic country" and sunny touch to interior decoration.
