Rustic work table made of solid pine with a front drawer, originating from Central Europe and dated from the turn of the 20th century. A functional piece of domestic character, representative of utilitarian furniture from Central Europe, where simplicity of construction and durability were essential. In the rural and domestic contexts of Central Europe at the end of the 19th century, this type of table served as a versatile work surface in kitchens, workshops, or secondary spaces. Its generous proportions and open structure allowed for intensive use, while the integrated drawer provided practical storage for everyday utensils. It is made of solid pine, with a sturdy structure composed of straight legs connected by crossbars ensuring its stability. The tabletop, formed from wooden planks, shows slight irregularities characteristic of handcrafted work. The front drawer, simply constructed, retains its ceramic knob and original function. The patina combines remnants of worn blue paint with the exposed wood, creating a surface rich in texture and shades. The marks, abrasions, and signs of use testify to a long life of use, enhancing its authenticity and visual presence. Details. Dimensions: Width: 143 cm Depth: 74 cm Height: 80 cm.
