Fat Lava Vase Jasba N 602/12-25, Germany, 1970s

Spectacular vintage vase with a handle from the German manufacturer Jasba, model N 602/12-25, made in the 1970s. Its particularly luminous glaze blends shades of red, orange, and incandescent yellow, then evolves into a deep brown at the bottom. On the shoulder, a large volcanic area in graphite grey features a raw, cratered relief, characteristic of the Fat Lava aesthetic. The widely flared neck and the large curved handle give the vase a powerful and very balanced silhouette. Even when presented without flowers, it serves as a true decorative object and a beautiful example of West German Pottery from the 1970s. The base bears the Jasba mark and the reference N 602/12-25 in relief. Very good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. Height: 24 cm. Opening diameter: 10 cm. Base diameter: 12 cm. Weight: 1.1 kg.
