Magnificent table in the Louis XIII or monastery style, stripped and made of oak. It stands out for its incredible checkerboard top and its intricately designed base. It is made of raw wood and ready to be varnished or painted according to your desires. The checkerboard top, made of marquetry veneer, consists of small squares of oak arranged by alternating the direction of the wood grain, creating a unique play of light. The two extensions that store under the main top are covered with the same pattern. The Louis XIII style base is richly adorned, featuring twisted column legs that end in sculpted melon or collar-shaped balls, an elegantly shaped H stretcher sculpted with a cartouche motif in the centre that connects the legs for perfect stability, and a delicately carved table apron with a central shell and scrolls. This is a beautiful piece made in the style of the 1950s-1970s. The top uses a thick oak veneer on a stable frame to prevent the checkerboard pattern from warping or cracking over time. The base is made of solid oak. It is fully dismountable, robust, in very good condition, and ideal for hosting family and friends around a good meal. There is the possibility of applying a finish of matte or satin clear varnish, medium oak satin varnish, light oak satin varnish, golden oak satin varnish, or dark oak matte varnish for an additional €100. For other finishes, please add the cost of the varnish. Length without extensions 140 cm, length with 2 extensions 220 cm (extensions 2x40 cm), width 100 cm, height 62/77 cm.
