Pair of wall lamps with teak bases, flexible brass arms and fabric shades. Swedish SEMKO certification mark present. Scandinavia, '50s. Pair of wall lamps reflecting the principles of post-war Scandinavian design through the combination of natural materials and industrial components. The teak wall mounts are paired with flexible brass arms that allow the light to be adjusted, while the fabric-covered shades provide a soft, diffused illumination. This combination of wood, metal and textile became a defining feature of many Nordic lighting designs during the 1950s, expressing a careful balance between domestic comfort and quality craftsmanship. Both lamps retain the Swedish SEMKO electrical safety certification mark, documenting their original distribution on the Swedish market. Good condition. They may show signs of age. Please pay close attention to the photographs. AF589.
