Oval mirror in gilded wood

Oval mirror with a gilded wooden frame, featuring concentric stepped mouldings, a simple line inherited from the Louis-Philippe style. 1950. Frame in moulded and gilded wood. The gilding, patinated by time, reveals the light wood underneath in places. Compact size, suitable for an entrance, a hallway, or a wall composition combining several mirrors. Signs of use on the entire frame. Visible chip on the lower moulding, with loss of gilding in that area. Height 33 cm × Diameter 27 cm.
