1980s Desk chair by Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno, Italy

A lovely desk chair designed by osvaldo borsani and manufactured by tecno in italy around 1980. The piece has a black and grey aluminium base in a nice curved shape, holding the black plastic seat with eye-catching red upholstery. It stands on wheels, making it perfect for office use. This all creates a very nice contrast and eye-catching modern appeal! The use of plastic and bright colours is typical for mid-century italian design, and this piece has a unique elegant appeal to it. A really nice find with an excellent seating comfort! The piece remains in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The base and upholstery is all still good and has no damages. It has only very minor user marks as can be expected of a vintage piece. The photos represent it well.
