Slate blue Parisian buffet

Parisian buffet in very good general condition. After thermal stripping in certain areas followed by exterior sanding, finished with a thorough cleaning using an eco-friendly detergent with a bit of white vinegar and a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil for its antifungal properties, it has revealed its light wood along with some marks and scars from its previous lives and its great age. Its interior has been completely repainted with several layers of ✨ porcelain white ✨ from Liberon, then sanded in a way that gives it a "scratched" look, as if worn by time... the shelf is kept in raw wood. Its shell handles have been replaced. The original lock could not be preserved and has been replaced with a new one. Its top shows three scars from a previous height that have been restored and repatinated for a completely homogeneous finish. Photos are intentionally taken in close-up to showcase the lovely imperfections as well as the charming qualities that illustrate this piece of furniture, I remind you, of "second hand", nearly 80 years old.
