French Janus Lily Point Rug

This is an antique french tetex rug from the first quarter of the 20th century, circa 1920s. Also called a "janus" rug due to the lily stitch weaving method. Patterns inspired by agra rugs from india. Wool rug on cotton base. Dimensions: 344x247 cm condition: stains all over the rug (the stains blend into the intricate patterns of the rug), the most visible to the eye are in the center of the rug. The rug has been professionally washed.
