Carthago pendant lamp for Raak Amsterdam, 1970's

The decorative 'carthago' pendant lamp was designed for raak in the 1960's. It is made out of a copper colored metal reflecor hanging on a profiled amber colored glass. A beautiful lamp that gives a very cosy light effect when lit. Model b-1002.12. Documented in the 'raak' catalogue no 9. The glass shows great similarities to the glass icicles of a design that is often attributed to nanny still. The light in a very good condition but smaller signs of age and use might be visible.
