Art deco globe with light

This art deco globe was made between 1935 and 1940 by j. Forest, for the editors girard and barrère. The globe is made of glass and paper, and it has a stylish metal base with the switch. It looks fantastic in a bedroom or living room to create a cosy atmosphere.  In good vintage condition. The globe presents some imperfections (as shown in the pictures) and the metal base has some tarnished spots,  as expected with objects of this age. It’s part of the character and really is very charming! It works perfectly, although it has not been checked by an electrician. Diameter 24 cm; height 28 cm; diameter base 16 cm.
