Beer cup - Berliner Weisse

This glass was used in germany at the beginning of the 20th century to serve the "berliner weissee" beer with or without schuss (comparable to the panache). The berliner weisse is a beer with a low alcohol content, around 3% or 4%. If the customer ordered a berliner weisse mit schuss, the preparation was to first pour the beer up to the thick line (for this 0.3 l glass). Then a syrup (red fruit or waldmeister green color) was added. A very popular and refreshing drink consumed especially in biergarten.
