Hotel floor lamp from the atomic era, Czechoslovakia, 1970s

A relatively rarely seen floor lamp, made in the 1970s in the former Czechoslovakia. It was most likely hotel room equipment. The lamp is made of opaque white glass with a matte surface and a frame entirely made of beech wood. The rounded shape of the lamp is linked to the atomic era, a time when futuristic round shapes entered applied arts. When lit, the lamp creates a pleasant diffuse light. The lamp is fully functional and in very good original condition. Height: 133 cm, width: 49 cm, depth: 49 cm.
