Pierre Vandel coffee table, Hollywood Regency model, vintage, 70s

Large and elegant designer coffee table from the 70s signed Pierre Vandel. This "Hollywood Regency" model is composed of a black lacquered aluminum structure and two thick, slightly smoked glass tops. A light golden brass edging highlights the pleasant shape of the whole. The upper plate is beveled. The trays are removable. This angular table evokes the glamorous and minimalist aesthetic that dominated furniture design in the 70s. It was created at the time of Pierre Vandel's collaboration with Pierre Cardin.
