Oval Rolling Table in Golden Brass with Three Glass Shelves and. Work F

This rolling table features three stacked oval transparent glass trays, each encased in a molded gilded brass frame and surrounded by a finely pierced balustrade gallery. The fluted supports, accented with gilded balls at the junction of the top tray, extend down to four original casters that facilitate service. This elegantly tiered oval silhouette, with a strong neoclassical style, stylistically connects this piece of furniture to the productions of Maison Jansen, the renowned Parisian decoration house founded in 1880, a supplier to royal courts, whose brass and glass serving pieces are among the classics of the genre. Condition report: Overall good condition. Gilded brass with a beautiful, slightly ambered homogeneous patina, glasses may show probable surface micro-scratches inherent to use, functional casters. A refined serving piece, perfect as a mobile end table or tea table.
