Piano stool

Antique piano stool, probably from the Victorian period (around 1837 to 1901) or the early 20th century, identifiable by its style and period embroidery. The elegant sculpted legs, often cabriole or turned, are characteristic of Victorian or Napoleonic III furniture. It is made of wood, which has been blackened or ebonised, a common finish for this type of furniture at the time. It is round and upholstered, covered with tapestry or needlework depicting floral patterns typical of the period. Height adjustable. Seat diameter 37 cm. Weight 6.9 kg.
