Large press screw

We present here an old press screw mounted on a saddle, of a beautiful height (136 cm) and revisited in the 1920s-30s. Its successful reconversion into a pedestal will allow it to accommodate and especially to enhance, a lamp, a statue, or even a beautiful vase for an interior with dimensions adjusted to this beautiful column. The old wood, here, very solid, probably from the 19th century, was rehabilitated in the 20th century for a completely different orientation, perhaps during the disappearance of a press of which this screw was the active heart of a beautiful ensemble.
