Superb original abstract lithograph by Alfred MANESSIER (1911-1993), a major figure of the Nouvelle École de Paris and Lyrical Abstraction. Composition in black and shades of grey, signed in pencil "Manessier" at the bottom right and numbered 74/80 at the bottom left. Reference: work by Camille Bourniquel published by Éditions Galanis in 1971 "Sentier d'Hermès" (see photo extracted from a similar image of one of the drawings in the book at the end of my pictures). A work with powerful graphics, rhythmic and timeless, ideal for a modern, contemporary, minimalist, Japandi or Mid-Century interior. ORIGINAL LITHOGRAPH - NOT A REPRODUCTION. This is a genuine art print made using lithographic press, not a poster or digital print. Limited edition: 74/80, numbered in pencil. Original signature of Manessier in pencil at the bottom right (the artist's cursive signature can sometimes be misinterpreted at first glance, but it is indeed the official signature of the artist). Printed on art paper with deckle edges. The variations in ink density, from transparent grey to deep black, testify to the artisanal printing process. Very good overall condition. Well-preserved vellum paper and fresh tones. Some natural handling marks on the edges, reflecting its history. Sold unframed. Hand delivery in Paris. Careful and secure shipping flat or in a reinforced cardboard tube.
