Add a touch of raw art and elegance to your collection with this superb decorative ceramic tile dated 1968. This piece is a work by the Belgian ceramic artist Yvette Manoy. It perfectly embodies the prestige of the art workshops in Namur. The thick earthenware tile features a magnificent ram. The animal displays a bright saffron yellow hue in slight relief. Its large twisted horn is enhanced with vibrant turquoise glaze. The deep black enamel background, typical of the artist's technique, is structured by a delicate white and black graphic frieze. The reverse of the piece is a treasure trove for collectors: it reveals the engraved signature "Y. Manoy", the mark of the Namur workshop "Houard", as well as a period dedication from 25/03/68. The tile comes with its original wire wall attachment. The brilliance of the glaze and the mastery of the firing offer a striking colour contrast that intensely captures the light. The dimensions of this showcase art piece are: Length: 10 cm. Width: 10 cm. Thickness: 8 mm. A beautiful high-end collectible object of great rarity, perfect for stylish interiors and Mid-Century design enthusiasts.
