Pair of vintage 1970s pedestals/columns in solid oak

Pair of vintage columns / pedestals from the 1970s in solid oak – matte black & raw wood. Beautiful pair of decorative vintage columns in solid oak, dating from the 1970s. Their turned wooden silhouette, very sculptural, has been updated with a matte black finish, contrasted by the tops left in raw oak to preserve the grain and natural warmth of the wood. The tops have received a clear matte oil protection. With a height of 80 cm, they can be used as pedestals, plant stands, or supports for sculptures, ceramics, and lighting. Placed together or on either side of a sofa, fireplace, or console, they also serve as true decorative elements. Dimensions of one column: L 30 × D 30 × H 80 cm. Top: 28 × 28 cm. Condition: vintage pieces fully renovated, retaining the marks and irregularities characteristic of their age and the work of solid wood. Please note: on one of the two columns, the natural work of the wood over time has caused a slight misalignment in some joints as well as visible cracks. These features are shown in the detail photographs and contribute to the history of the piece. Sold only as a pair.
