Large Art Nouveau Barbotine Cache-pot - Polychrome Poppy Decor

Large Art Nouveau cache-pot (late 19th - early 20th century) in barbotine (glazed earthenware) with a very high-relief moulded decoration, typical of the Art Nouveau movement that celebrates organic and floral forms. Rich decoration of poppies and polychrome leaves (powder pink, blue-mauve/lavender). Background in a gradient of cream and brown/rust colours. Maximum diameter (including the flowers): 40 cm. Signature suggesting production from a major French manufacturer of the time (such as Onnaing or Sarreguemines). Very good overall condition. Presence of a few discreet chips on the underside of the flowers (almost invisible as they are hidden by the relief). A superficial hairline crack is visible on the neck (see detail photo).
