Rambervillers S.A.P.C. flamed sandstone pitcher

Silver sandstone pitcher with blue metallic reflections. This pitcher, whose shape hesitates between, the animal for the spout and the plant for the belly, was produced by the anonymous society of ceramic products of rambervillers in the vosges. In 1903, alphonse cytère (1861-1941) created a workshop for the production of artistic sandstones: flamed sandstone and metal-reflected sandstone. This pitcher is referenced "094" in the 1920 catalogue. It is marked under the base "united france" and "metal reflections of rambervillers". It dates back to the 1930s.
